The plan...

Hi Everyone,
This is going to be our means of communicating with friends, relatives and everyone interested in participating on our adventure of driving a motorcycle from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Ushuaia in Argentina and then further to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

Countries we will be visiting:
USA, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Argentina and finally Brazil.

Who is going:
Two of my best friends, whom I have known for more than 35 years:
Gildo Grisolia and Manolo Peón.

Because this is the first time I am using this Blogger thing, I ask for your forgiveness with the lack of a more organized site.

Any tips and suggestions are most welcome.

Homero

ESTIVE NO Ushuaia nesta época do ano, o vento racha os labios e resseca as narinas....mas a paisagem compensa tudo, tenho lindas fotos de lá. Boa viagem a todos.

Thanks for sharing your planned journey. I am a bit envious. Your adventurous plan sounds awesome...not so sure that I would chose the same mode of transportation, but the stops along the way will be something I look forward to sharing. Be safe and enjoy!
Fondly, Tina

Dear Homero,

I am enthusiastic about your great project! I know you as a very good ultralight pilot and a am sure you will be successful on the earth's surface as well. By the way: it’s never too late. My bike (http://www.netyet.com.br/fritz/harley.htm) is now 64 years old and still running great! I will follow you through your blog and wish you good luck. I’ll be waiting for your call when arriving in Rio.

All the best:
Fritz Meier

i'm so excited for your journey! you are lucky that i have not asked to go along.. in my life, with three Triumphs, and a BMW i have never traveled more than a few hundred miles without a breakdown in either the bike or my back - you would never reach your destination in our lifetime if i was along.

It is impossible to imagine a human body that can handle such a bumpy excusion.. therefore, i will be shopping for massage therapists on the internet for all cities along your route. ha!

You blog is great! .
