Status of the trip today

Still missing:
Yellow fever vaccine, Tent/sleeping bag, mattress for camping, in case the bike breaks down, international driver's license and to arrange the shipping of the bikes from Panama to Ecuador, since there are NO ROADS in the Darian gap ( jungle in Panama , just in the border of Colombia.
Also we need to find international insurance for Gildo's bike.

In less than 50 days we will start our journey. Many times I ask myself: what the hell have I done... Now it is too late to cancel... Today I spend a fair amount of time learning about sleeping bags, tents, mattress etc. the guy from the store was talking about mosquitoes, ants, snakes etc that we should avoid entering the tents...
While he was talking I was imagining a clean bed with air conditioned, in a nice hotel...

I still have hopes to lose 8 kilos before start the trip, so it will be less weight in my coxxis (tail bone), which still hurt just seating in the office...
