Manolo

This is our friend Manoel Silva Negreira Pe�n ( Manolo).
Manolo is also a childhood friend of Gildo and me and we in fact I know him since I was 13 years old (we used to study in the same school and I was in love with one of his sisters, but that�s another story�)

Manolo has been in the Hotel business most of his life and is an avid Harley Davidson fan (nobody is perfect) but will buy a BMW like ours and will join us from Santiago de Chile to the rest of the trip. He has extensive experience with Land Rovers and rallies and is the best mechanic of us all.
Recently we drove from Plantation, Florida to the mountains of Georgia and back and I was impressed how in good shape he is, with his 52 years old.

Manolo has done the South America route more than 5 times (with his Jeeps) but this will be his first time on the bike. Manolo is the most experience driver of us all. He started his motorcycle career when he was 15 years old. I think we make a very good team. Not only we know each other for more than 35 years, we have been riding also for that long.
It will be lots of fun.
