Welcome to our 20,000 miles trip from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the end of South America(Ushuaia) and then up to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.Please read it from Botton to top. Homero, muito legal o seu blog. O que você, Gildo (meu bro) e Manolo irão realizar é um sonho de muitos. Os sonhos pouco têm a ver com a lógica e tudo a ver com a felicidade interior. Te digo que estou muito preocupada com esta viagem, mas sei que Gildo está com excelentes amigos. Aos três peço prudência e que você e Manolo puxem o freio do Gildo, pois ele adora velocidade. Apaixonado por moto, não poderia ser diferente. Cuidem dele, por favor. Que os três façam uma excelente viagem-aventura. Olhando as motos de 28 anos atrás e as que vocês têm hoje... Nossa!!! Unbelievable, if I see your planned trip on this map. It will be a big adventure for you and your friends. A lot of peoples will be envious of your vamumansu expedition, but to sit days and weeks on a motorcycle can be very very hard. But the time with your two friends, all the nice landscape you will see, and the new impression you get from this trip, will be a good compensation of the hard time on the motorbike.
I surfed a little bit in the internet on the weekend to get an idea what you will expect on your trip. A small interesting report of a german motorbiker who drove 19.000 km across southamerica with his friends helped me in this matter. Now I know that beside the nice moments you have to be very carefully of the condition of the streets, different temperature and of the customs from the different countries. Special because of the temperature difference, 150 liter of baggage is not so much. But I am sure that you will take the right decision, what will go with you on the trip and what have to stay at home. I hope you have place for the camera ;-). I can send you the link of the report (in german), if you want.
I will go ahead and follow up the news on your link. Good idea to create this blog which is available for everyone.
