10 day to departure...

What a day today..
rented a truck, went to the airport to pick up Gildo''s bike. Drove truck with bike to the BMW Dealer to put new tires (Metzler Tourance) and install an alarm. Returned the truck, had a quick lunch around 3 pm, worked one hour in my emails, went home, cut my hair alone, in the garden (no, I am not going to post any pictures of it...) and now I am sitting in the airport terminal waiting to board my plane to Frankfurt, via London. I will stay in Germany from Wednesday to Sunday. Then on the 7th I return to Florida and on the 9th Gildo is arriving.

Then we have to do the last minute instalation on both bikes and on the 12th, Friday, we are leaving. It is getting closer...

We have decided NOT to camp in the first part of the trip. Too many mosquitos, rain, and danger. Will probably camp in the mountains in Bolivia, Peru and Chile.

Have to board my plane now...
